We have written this book for those of you who have some experience in project management and are looking for a quick and efficient way to manage your projects. When combined, Excel 2007 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS)—two components of the Office 2007 initiative that Microsoft has developed—are great for managing all phases of a project, creating templates, collaborating on planning processes, tracking project progress, and sharing information with all interested parties. PMI is the de facto standard in project management methodologies. You will find that many organizations now require a PMP certification for positions related to project management. |
