Produced to a very high standard of quality, each title provides extensive colour illustrations and photos, (particular with regard to the modern era subjects). These are supplemented by numerous black & white archive photos, illustrations and diagrams (such as factory drawings and detail views), particularly where colour references are difficult to obtain. Much effort is devoted to illustrating specific areas of a given aircraft, e.g. the cockpit, engine, armament etc. The large number of photographs included means that many are reproduced to a fairly small size. In addition to the close-up photos, there are 1/72 scale 3-view line drawings and colour profiles.
